Hello!

Re-configuration after a cvs up brings strange results! Why does the  
C preprocessor need a -L option?

It comes from line #2435 of configure:

The preprocessor ignores the -L, so why even bother think about it?
Unless you are seeing an actual problem, but you didn't say that. If you
don't then just ignore this.
