The icon used for Emacs (at least for X displays) is the head of a gnu.
How about someone converts/shrinks the image(s) displayed in the splash
screen(s) to be used as a new Emacs icon?
Obviously iconifying Emacs is something of a sin, but at least sinners
would see the same colour image in the icon that they do in Emacs on
startup.
