Subject: RE: doc string for global-hl-line-mode should not mention M-x customize

C-h v already adds "You can customize this variable". The doc string
should not also have this text: "use either M-x customize...". The
link on this occurrence of "customize" does not take you to the
Customize buffer for the option; it takes you to the doc string of
command `customize', which is undesirable here.
That text is generated by define-minor-mode when it constructs the
defvar. So I think it will not be trivial to make it produce a
special kind of button. Is there a way for a doc string to do that?
Anyway, someone can feel free to improve this.
I suggest just getting rid of the part of the text that refers to "M-x
customize", as its link is confusing, and customizing (with a proper link)
is already mentioned.
