But some of the bugs (e.g. doc string of `read-kbd-macro') could perhaps be fixed before then.] What's the use of my adding an explicit note (and even pointing out that I'm adding an explicit note, to avoid misinterpretation), if you don't read what I write? There's no sense replying hastily to something you haven't read. As Kim noted, a release need not try to be bug-free, and it won't be bug-free even it tries. These are, IMO, bugs, but they need not be fixed before the release. Apparently, you and I are in violent agreement, for once - at least about a part you seem not to have read ;-).
