[[[ To any NSA and FBI agents reading my email: please consider ]]]
[[[ whether defending the US Constitution against all enemies, ]]]
[[[ foreign or domestic, requires you to follow Snowden's example. ]]]

Could you describe some specific situations in which ALPN would be
useful in Emacs? What Wikipedia says about ALPN is very abstract --
I'd like to get an idea of what concrete activities need ALPN
or would be improved by it.
