It is clear that, if the maintenance burden for us is too high, it would be unfeasible. This is the same as the situation for Windows, for MacOS, and maybe for MSDOS as well if it is still of interest to users. In each of these cases, the specific question of whether we can bear the maintenance burden is a matter of details.
