To the extent that the color choices of Solarized are _determined_ by
abstracted design goals, they are not copyrightable choices. Only
details of expression that could have been chosen differently are
copyrightable. I don't know how much of that there is in Solarized.
If it is all decided based on what works well, maybe none of it is
copyrightable.
