Its author, Bob Chassell, became incapacitated many years before his death, so it has not had the needed attention for quite some time. I would be surprised if it didn't have other problems due to the changes that we have made in Emacs Lisp since 20 years ago. Would anyone like to pick some chapter and read it looking for anything that needs updating? Not only things that are now incorrect, but anything that is not clear to beginners. -- Dr Richard Stallman Chief GNUisance of the GNU Project (https://gnu.org) Founder, Free Software Foundation (https://fsf.org) Internet Hall-of-Famer (https://internethalloffame.org)
