That's all I use for moving > around. I use sequences of cursor motion commands all the time. I don't really move my hand away when I hold the left control key. Often I hold it down for several characters in a row. I never type PgUp and PgDown and Home and End, because they are so far away they would never occur to me. This is the normal way to do cursor motion in Emacs.
