The word "cloud", in the context of computing, can't help but stand for "cloud computing". That was surely the reason for choosing that word, because otherwise it would make no sense here. Why does the name gnus-cloud.el seem more appropriate than gnus-rain.el or gnus-snow.el? Than gnus-tent.el or gnus-shirt.el? Than gnus-shrimp.el or gnus-leaf.el? The only reason "cloud" could make sense here is if it refers to "the cloud". > The word "cloud" is not to blame for some of its abuses. What a droll straw man. It is better to risk looking ridiculous than to sheepishly follow the crowd and spread the ideas we criticize. -- Dr Richard Stallman President, Free Software Foundation (https://gnu.org, https://fsf.org) Internet Hall-of-Famer (https://internethalloffame.org) Skype: No way!
