Subject: build failure on Solaris 10
Date: Fri, 27 Jun 2008 17:01:22 +0900 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <E1KC8tW-0007Ru-75@etlken.m17n.org> (raw)
I got this bug report:
The latest Emacs can't be compiled on Solaris 10 because
it tries to link non-existing /usr/lib/ccs/crt1.o.
When src/m/sparc.h is reverted to the previous version, the
above problem disappear, but the following error happens:
gcc -nostdlib `./prefix-args -Xlinker -L/usr/ccs/lib `./prefix-args -Xlinker -\R/usr/openwin/lib -R/opt/local/lib` `{ set x USE_MOTIF; test "$2" = "USE_MOTIF"\; } || echo ' -R/usr/dt/lib -L/usr/dt/lib'`` -L/usr/openwin/lib -L/opt/local/li\b -o temacs pre-crt0.o /usr/ccs/lib/crt1.o /usr/ccs/lib/crti.o /usr/ccs/lib/val\ues-Xt.o dispnew.o frame.o scroll.o xdisp.o menu.o xmenu.o window.o charset.o c\oding.o category.o ccl.o character.o chartab.o cm.o term.o terminal.o xfaces.o \xterm.o xfns.o xselect.o xrdb.o fontset.o xsmfns.o fringe.o image.o emacs.o k\eyboard.o macros.o keymap.o sysdep.o buffer.o filelock.o insdel.o marker.o mini\buf.o fileio.o dired.o filemode.o cmds.o casetab.o casefiddle.o indent.o search\.o regex.o undo.o alloc.o data.o doc.o editfns.o callint.o eval.o floatfns.o fn\
