I forwarded this to the maintainer of GNU Spell.
If you see such problems in other programs, would you please
report them?

OK, but more efficient is:
There should be a way for you, with one command ($ find|xargs grep),
to detect all files in all GNU projects containing the string
"prep.ai.mit.edu".
Consider it as a military exercise in case one day there is a security
alert and one must comb everything looking for a certain evil string.
Sorry this doesn't have to do with bug-gnu-emacs, but that's a
newsgroup I know the weighty one reads :-), and I want others to
discuss it too, hence my posting instead of emailing.
