You probably misunderstood: I did not do anything, I just described the
setup I have used until now to keep it up-to-date, in the hope that it
will be useful to (and preserved by) whoever does this particular update.
The part that isn't clear to me is whether that branch currently
includes any of his changes that are not in the trunk. Does it?
If it does, should any of those changes be installed?
