Please write in English if possible, because the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators to read other languages for them.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

% emacs -Q src/gmalloc.c
C-x v l

The cursor stays at the top of the log view buffer.
Contrast this to emacs 22.1 where the cursor is positioned to the current
log entry for the revision of src/gmalloc.c that you are editing.
