Ok, I now see your intention. I've thought that Emacs 22.2,
3, ... are just bug-fix releases, but it seems that new
features will also go to Emacs 22.2, right?
A few modular new features can be put in Emacs 22, if they
are totally safe. However, in general, new features should
only be put in Emacs 23 (trunk and unicode-2) and not in Emacs 22.
