Everyone: please either patch configure after you update it,
or use a patched Autoconf to update it,
or don't update configure and leave it for someone else to do.

Since configure has to be regenerated for release anyway it does not
matter at all.

See point 5 in admin/make-tarball.txt.

In any way, you are making too much fuss about a message that nobody is
going to see anyway.
