Most users will not specify that. In fact, I'm sure many don't even
know how to find out the values, or what parts of the display are
affected by this.
It's an obscure issue, so let's not try solving it hastily, which
would perhaps be appropriate if it affected many users in some grave
way.
In other words, waiting a bit for user reports to come in doesn't
sound like a bad thing to me.
