Date: Wed, 09 Jul 2003 19:47:25 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <E19aOej-0002Me-KS@fencepost.gnu.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <nqsmpijp1r.fsf@alcatel.de> (message from Michael Albinus on Mon, 07 Jul 2003 18:10:24 +0200)

Touched a file '\$abc' in my home directory. Started "emacs-21.3 -q
--no-init-file -f ffap-bindings" (no Tramp, or so). Loaded home
    directory in dired, point at file '$abc.el'. After "C-x C-f <TAB>" I
    get the error message

ffap-read-file-or-url-internal: Substituting nonexistent environment variable "abc"

Would someone like to work on fixing ffap?
