Hello,
I've got reports that compiling Emacs 21.1 fails on NetBSD/mips
because of temacs. As you might know, Emacs 20.7 was okay, so Emacs
21.1 can also be available in theory.

We depend on people who use various systems to fix system-specific
bugs like this one. First, could you try the latest version from CVS
(on savannah.gnu.org) and see if the problem is still there?

I personally don't access to any MIPS machine, so I'm asking people
who own MIPS running NetBSD to try the latest Emacs from CVS. Please
wait until I'll receive a report from someone...

Hello,
Noguchi-san <ngc@ff.iij4u.or.jp> kindly helped to test if the latest
Emacs can be compiled on NetBSD/hpcmips.
The result is that compilation fails at the same point (temacs) as the
previous report which was done with Emacs 21.2.
% make bootstrap
(...)
./temacs --batch --load loadup bootstrap
./temacs: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
*** Error code 2
Noguchi-san used Emacs source from CVS around 20021009.
