Subject: ls hangs forever in term
Date: Sun, 21 Apr 2002 02:47:34 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <E16z5Vu-0001He-00@meltdown.ion> (raw)

This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.

In GNU Emacs 21.2.1 (i386-debian-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

When I run ls in term, the output is perfect but it hangs forever
after ls finishes. It happens with some other commands such as df, but
not with less. It doesn't happen at all in emacs20, only in emacs21,
so I think it is a bug. If I go to the console and the return to X,
emacs is black and anyway after this kind of hang I have to kill it
with SIGINT.
