emacs -Q
M-x set-variable pop-up-frames RET t RET
Evaluate a defcustom with const choices, such as the following:
(defcustom foo nil
"..."
:type '(choice (const :tag "nada" nil)
(const :tag "titi" titi)
(const :tag "toto" toto)
(const :tag "titi" titi)))
M-x customize-option RET foo RET
Buffer `widget-choose' appears in a separate frame (normal).
Hitting 0, 1, etc. sets the new value, but it does not
dismiss (delete) the `widget-choose' frame.
This is a broken dialog, IMO. If we expect a buffer to act like a menu, then
it needs to act like one also when `pop-up-frames' is non-nil.
In GNU Emacs 22.1.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
of 2007-06-02 on RELEASE
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
configured using `configure --with-gcc (3.4) --cflags -Ic:/gnuwin32/include'
