Subject: bug#23345: 25.0.93; (c-mode) wrong face for the first function name if code begun from point 1
Date: Sat, 23 Apr 2016 20:43:39 +0530	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CANHUxH2AkMfmjL4pg4Z6g7j1V+qJk1zsbRW6GdpXeJL9EM3aqg@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

If I begin to write code from the point 1, the beginning of the buffer,
in a C file, the code doesn't get the right face if its a function (for the
first one only).

Eg (file.c, file begins with 'int' from the point 1):

   int
   main (void);

The function "main" doesn't get the right face (may be not identified as
function name syntactically) -- `font-lock-function-name-face'. This happens
only when the function is written in GNU style.
