Subject: v29.2 Java FontLock mode weirdness ?
To: <jason.vas.dias@gmail.com>
Good day -
Could anyone please enlighten me as to why, in enclosed Screenshot
of Emacs 29.2, running under Fedora 40 / XFce4 on x86_64, in Java,
the identifier after '>' in an 'if' clause is being specially
highlighted ,
but not one after '>=' ? ie. 'bursttime_end' identifier is shown in
green bold only when after a '>' character, not when after '>=' .
It looks like a bug to me, if only a niggle. Why doesn't this occur
in C font-lock mode ?
Thanks, Best Regards,
Jason

Please submit a bug report about this with all the details, and the
relevant developer(s) will investigate.
Thanks.

I started to do that, and then saw v29-4 - am building that now for
Fedora-40 (FC-40),
of course RH do not supply the latest Emas buuld still :-(
Will let you know if bug still happens in v29.4 .
I really don't have any non-standard highlighting tools installed, except
for lisp-mode ...
