Anyway, I can't reproduce this with this test: src/emacs -Q --batch --eval '(check-declare-file "~/tmp/hyperdrive.el/hyperdrive-lib.el")' where ~/tmp/hyperdrive.el is a checkout of your hyperdrive library.
