No need for intuition, nor prohibition of using emacs: I was proposing a general and unambiguous way of naming the scroll commands, which explicitly state both the part that is moving ("view" or whatever name you like) and the direction of movement ("up"/"down"/"left"/"right"). -- Dani Moncayo
