Subject: completion.el users?

The two things that completion.el does that no other package to
my knowledge does:(I still remember it as tmc-completion)which is
what it ws called when I first started using it:
1. Remembers ocmpletions you've used recently.
2. Loads completions from a tags table --
I've not used it heavily recently, but it would be nice to get
that feature in emacs' dabbrev or other packages before we
declare completion.el obsolete.
