Subject: One face :height for both Mac OS and Windows
Date: Mon, 18 May 2015 18:22:07 +0200 [thread overview]

Hi!
The :height attribute for faces isn’t consistent between Mac OS and
Windows. This seems to be due to a basic incompatibility between how
Mac OS and Windows interpret font sizes, but before I go down the road
of having separate configurations for either OS, does anyone have any
comments on how this can be solved?
I basically want
(set-frame-font "DejaVu Sans Mono-14" nil t)
to work for both systems. (Windows wants (set-frame-font "DejaVu Sans
Mono-10" nil t) for displaying text in the same size as Mac OS at 14
currently.)
