Hi list,<div><br></div><div>Is there a way to run a shell-command without emacs creating any kind of output buffer when it&#39;s completed? I&#39;ve tried using &quot;&amp;&quot; but the buffer just changes to &quot;Async Output Buffer&quot;. I&#39;d just like emacs to silently run the command in the background, preferably without blocking. Any ideas?</div>
