There seems to be no clear correlation.

I've tested a few t= imes, and in the cases where the animation stops early,
the gc message is shown after the animation stops. I= n the occasions where
the=C2=A0animation runs correctly<= span style=3D"font-family:monospace">=C2=A0up to the end, there are gc mess= ages while
the anima= tion is running, but they don't seem to affect it.
