There's a new branch emacs-24 from which 24.1 will be released. Builds from that branch currently have emacs-version 24.0.95. So the trunk was "upgraded" to 24.1.50 to distinguish them. The version from the trunk is not really very important. If after 24.1 is released there's the need to make another release 24.2 from the emacs-24 branch (because of an urgent security fix, a serious mistake in the 24.1 release, whatever), the trunk would be upgraded to 24.2.50. =C2=A0 =C2=A0 Juanma
