Whew! Finally I create 4 featured patches for hideif. I tried to make each
of
the patch standalone and feature complete but I can't guarantee that.
Attached are those 4 patches. Please apply the patches according to the
numeric order from 0001~0004.The only guarantee is that hideif.el can still
be compiled into .elc file without error when each patch is applied (in
order
0001~0004).These 4 patches are created using "git format-patch".

Best regards,
Luke Lee

Subject: [PATCH 2/4] Aggregate enhancements for hideif macro expansion.
* Supporting argumented macro expansion.
* Stringification, tokenization and concatenation of strings and tokens.
* Add functions to find defines and parse argumented macros into a macro tree
containing macro name, formal parameters and macro body.
* Later macro expansion time it will be applied by actual parameters and then
got expanded recursively.

Subject: [PATCH 3/4] Other hideif enhancements and bug fixes:
* Add macro evaluation function and key binding.
* Automatic search for defines on hiding.
* Merge continuous "..." into one.
* Fix original bug that sometimes fail to hide the correct portion in a long
ifdefs containing elif and else.
* Support hide/show commands in a marked region.
* Expand top level for .h files to prevent re-inclusion protection.
* Others.
