Subject: customize group and option should introduce parent groups the same way
Date: Sat, 21 Jul 2007 07:59:39 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <BDEIJAFNGDOAGCJIPKPBEEODCFAA.drew.adams@oracle.com> (raw)
emacs -Q
M-x customize-group convenience
You see the line "Go to parent group: emacs", with `emacs' a link.
M-x customize-option confirm-kill-emacs
You see the line "Parent groups: convenience", with `convenience' a link.
The language should be the same, to make things easier on the user.
The "Parent groups: " wording is better, IMO.
In GNU Emacs 22.1.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
of 2007-06-02 on RELEASE
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
configured using `configure --with-gcc (3.4) --cflags -Ic:/gnuwin32/include'
