Hmm... The correct one should be:
(defmacro xgp-casi2-safe-call-iter (func largs)
(if largs
`(condition-case nil
(apply ,func ,((lambda (a) `(quote ,(car a))) largs))
(error (xgp-casi2-safe-call-iter ,func ,(cdr largs))))
'nil))
Only ,(car largs) is not sufficient.
