Am I right that, when save-abbrevs is set to 'silently', my abbrev_defs
should be saved every time I C-x C-s a buffer I'm working on?  This doesn't
seem to be happening, but it's exactly what I would want to have happen.
I'm using a recent snapshot of Emacs24 -- debian package built on April 08.
