Subject: bug tracker woes, bug #1077 aka #670
Date: Tue, 6 Oct 2009 09:56:21 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <AF3280F0551842D5A0F07B47A43AD1FA@us.oracle.com> (raw)

1. Emacs Bug #1077 (2008-10) was merged with bug #670 (2008-08). OK.
I sent an update mail to bug #1077 today - the problem still exists.
No one has looked into it, AFAICT.

2. I see that 3/4 of the posts to bugs #1077 and #670 are
biblical spam. I click the link "Send a report that this
bug log contains spam". I get this error:

"The requested URL /cgi-bin/bugspam.cgi was not found on this server."

Wunderbar. At least bugspam.cgi knows how to cut down on spam for itself. ;-)

Not to mention that the site is so slow. Forget about listing the archived bugs
- that just times out altogether (after hanging the browser and pretty much the
computer for 1/2 an hour or so).
