I am also of the opinion that we should not attempt to cause "the 'snap' messages to reset [to] be ignored by Emacs" as Bob Floyd suggested in another message. Any attempt to do so would make Emacs behave differently from any other application designed for Microsoft Windows. This is something we do not want to do.
