Subject: Cannot open specific tagged file in pcl-cvs
Date: Wed, 5 Mar 2003 11:25:29 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <9D262C5FCA25D411BB4900508BA54EAA0499C9A2@exchange-b.saltaire.pace.co.uk> (raw)

In GNU Emacs 21.1.1 (i386-msvc-nt4.0.1381)

I open a CVS window with

  M-x cvs-quickdir RET RET

I choose a file, and generate a *cvs-info* window by typing "+"

I move the cursor to one of the tags in the *cvs-info* window, and attempt
to open that file with "o"

I get an error message:

cvs-check-fileinfo: Invalid :dir in cvs-fileinfo [cl-struct-cvs-fileinfo nil
UNKNOWN nil c:/emacs-21.1/bin/ ldrindex.c nil nil nil ]

The CVS repository is a remote one.
The same key sequence works for on another machine with Linux.
