Subject: bug#2383: describe-bindings listp, #<EMACS BUG: INVALID DATATYPE>
Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2009 11:35:12 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <900b86670902190135u112b92f2w214a7e8f1134a98d@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

M-x describe-bindings doesn't work anymore. Worked in 22.3 on this
machine, same compiler (XL C 10.1), etc.
M-x describe-bindings: Wrong type argument: listp, #<misc free cell>

M-x version reports: GNU Emacs 23.0.90.2 (powerpc-ibm-aix5.3.0.0) of
2009-02-19 on phobos

M-x toggle-debug-on-error then M-x describe bindings reports:
1 Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument listp #<marker in
no buffer>)
2 describe-buffer-bindings(#<buffer *scratch*> nil nil)
3 describe-bindings-internal(nil nil)
4   describe-bindings()
5 call-interactively(describe-bindings t nil)
6 execute-extended-command(nil)
7 call-interactively(execute-extended-command nil nil)

If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
If you would like to further debug the crash, please read the file
/usr/local/share/emacs/23.0.90/etc/DEBUG for instructions.
