Yeah, I wouldn't mind "lurking" there, watching and reading.

But how do you subscribe to it?

Naively, maybe, all I found (www.gnu.org, I think) was the list for emacspeak.

If you search for "emacs" on google the first hit will be Emacs
homepage. On that page is a section called "Mailing Lists".

You can easily find most mailing lists related to Emacs there. (One that
is missing is help-emacs-windows@gnu.org which is for problems specific
for Emacs on ms windows. Maybe there are some for Mac too, but I do not
know.)

You can read it through GMane (gmane.org) using NNTP.  I find that more
convenient that e-mail delivery.
