dash on manpage stops ffap

On the apt.conf man page, it was not the // mistake  that stopped
emacs' ffap from finding the file. It was the dash stuff:
       In  general  the sample configuration file in /usr/share/doc/apt//exam-
       ples/apt.conf /usr/share/doc/apt/examples/configure-index.gz is a  good

Does your system's man command output the hyphenated path name?  If so, I don't
see how Emacs could distinguish between a file name that ends with a dash at the
end of a line and one that has been erroneously hyphenated and broken across the
newline.  Please complain to the author of th man page.
