Yes :-) `C-x' is the prefix for fundamental functions, and obviously `save-buffers-kill-terminal' is one of them. `C-c' is about quitting, not only in Emacs. I cannot think of something better than `C-x C-c'. Compared to this, Alt-F4 looks quite arbitrary to me. Anyway, we forgot the OP. Maybe his opinion counts more than our "old sport" rants! -- Bastien
