Hi all -

The attached patch fixes the byte compiler warnings that checkdoc issues
currently by declaring the functions for the byte compiler. It also
removes some old XEmacs compatibility code.

* lisp/emacs-lisp/checkdoc.el (checkdoc-file-comments-engine): Fix
