I've tested that it allows using 'C-x p g' in any directory,
not only in a repository! This is a great feature, thanks.
But a small problem that there is a need to exclude some subdirectories
from the search by 'C-x p g'. And I don't understand if your another patch
with 'project-vc-subprojects' could help with this?
