Another reason I would like this feature added is that its an area where transient shines. For now this would have to be done using something involving completing-read as K=C3=A9vin has done. It would be nice to use a sub-prefix to select the color/gender/... but currently a prefix (or rather one of its suffixes) cannot return a value to the parent prefix. But that was actually already one of the features I plan to implement next. Until the approach using completing-read also works.
