You can access using pop3. Works for me. You are probably > better off in gnu.emacs.gnus gmail pop3 is somehow doing some evil. It will randomly resist downloading some mails. This has pissed me off many times ! I first thought this might be fetchmail's problem, so i try switching to `getmail'. Then, from getmail i found there's a FAQ entry just talking about this issue: ,----[ getmail doesn't download all my mail from Gmail =E2=80=A6 ] | There's a couple of different problems here. One is that Google's Gmail | service violates the POP3 protocol by removing messages from the POP3 | view of the mailbox without the user issuing a DELE command. They do | this as soon as an RETR command is given, so if getmail tries to | download a message and it fails for any reason (delivery fails due to a | full disk, or the Gmail server fails to respond, or the network | connection dies before the transfer is complete, or the Gmail server | fails to respond to the QUIT command, or =E2=80=A6), the next time getmail | connects to that Gmail account, Gmail will have "helpfully" deleted the | message from the POP3 mailbox, even though getmail never issued a DELE | command. So Gmail silently destroys mail, from a POP3 | perspective. There's nothing getmail can do about this. |=20 | Note this feature of Gmail is not well-publicized. The only | mention I can find of it is here: |=20 | http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=3D13291&topic=3D1555 |=20 | The other issue here is that Google doesn't include mail from your trash | or spam folders in the POP3 view, so getmail can't see those messages | either. That's generally less of an issue, provided their spam filters | never give false positive results (ha!). `---- --=20 William =E9=A2=98=E7=9B=AE:=E3=80=8A=E9=87=91=E9=94=99=E5=88=80=E8=A1=8C=E3=80=8B =E4=BD=9C=E8=80=85:=E9=99=86=E6=B8=B8=EF=BC=88=EF=BC=91=EF=BC=91=EF=BC=92= =EF=BC=95=EF=BC=8D=EF=BC=91=EF=BC=92=EF=BC=91=EF=BC=90=EF=BC=89 =E9=BB=84=E9=87=91=E9=94=99=E5=88=80=E7=99=BD=E7=8E=89=E8=A3=85=EF=BC=8C=E5= =A4=9C=E7=A9=BF=E7=AA=97=E6=89=89=E5=87=BA=E5=85=89=E8=8A=92=E3=80=82 =E4=B8=88=E5=A4=AB=E4=BA=94=E5=8D=81=E5=8A=9F=E6=9C=AA=E7=AB=8B=EF=BC=8C=E6= =8F=90=E5=88=80=E7=8B=AC=E7=AB=8B=E9=A1=BE=E5=85=AB=E8=8D=92=E3=80=82 =E4=BA=AC=E5=8D=8E=E7=BB=93=E4=BA=A4=E5=B0=BD=E5=A5=87=E5=A3=AB=EF=BC=8C=E6= =84=8F=E6=B0=94=E7=9B=B8=E6=9C=9F=E5=85=B1=E7=94=9F=E6=AD=BB=E3=80=82 =E5=8D=83=E5=B9=B4=E5=8F=B2=E5=86=8C=E8=80=BB=E6=97=A0=E5=90=8D=EF=BC=8C=E4= =B8=80=E7=89=87=E4=B8=B9=E5=BF=83=E6=8A=A5=E5=A4=A9=E5=AD=90=E3=80=82 =E5=B0=94=E6=9D=A5=E4=BB=8E=E5=86=9B=E5=A4=A9=E6=B1=89=E6=BB=A8=EF=BC=8C=E5= =8D=97=E5=B1=B1=E6=99=93=E9=9B=AA=E7=8E=89=E5=B6=99=E5=B3=8B=E3=80=82 =E5=91=9C=E5=91=BC=EF=BC=81=E6=A5=9A=E8=99=BD=E4=B8=89=E6=88=B7=E8=83=BD=E4= =BA=A1=E7=A7=A6=EF=BC=8C=E5=B2=82=E6=9C=89=E5=A0=82=E5=A0=82=E4=B8=AD=E5=9B= =BD=E7=A9=BA=E6=97=A0=E4=BA=BA=EF=BC=81
