Does it make what one might want to do when multiple buffers are involved more convenient? How? Privately I am using registers to save selections of files. Registers have the advantage that you can have more than one selection. I am using these selections totally differently, though: to restore marks or to open a file listing in a separate dedicated buffer. Michael.
