I just want to say that I really like the Emacs-Community. This is the
second offer to send a book. I've never seen anything like that
before.

I'm using Emacs for nearly a year now, and the people are all great,
on the mailinglists, on IRC, the people who write stuff for the wiki
etc.

I have ed 1 and 2 but I can't send one or the other for free (as
in free beer) since it may cost too much to send. I can send for
free (as in free beer) to any french speaking people accepting to
make a donation to the GNU project.

It will probably take about a month to reach you overland from
Istanbul (if it doesn't get lost on the way), but it will be worth the
