I don't know if this is an emacs question or an X/GTK question.
If I run:
GNU Emacs 22.1.1 (i486-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.0)
of 2007-11-06 on terranova, modified by Ubuntu
and select the font 10x20 from the popup menu, I get what looks like a
Sony fixed width font.
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
In /usr/share/X11/fonts/misc/fonts.alias I see:
10x20 -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--20-200-75-75-c-100-iso8859-1
If I specify the -misc-fixed font I get the font I expect.
Do you know what the problem might be and how I can fix it?
