Hello,

I don't understand the :name debug specification documented at (info
"(elisp) Specification List"). What is the name (component) of a
definition ? I guess that's simply the name of the function. How is an
additionnal symbol used in this context ? How is it used by edebug ?

I vaguely remember figuring it out in some distant past.  Maybe it had
to do with Edebug's facilities that let you do something like coverage
checking (or was it building a calltree?  It's pretty fuzzy, sorry).
