Well a mayor mode, I guess that is. The problem with this approach is that my favorite modes are message and LaTeX two mayor modes. So the logical step would be to use a minor mode, as far as I know it is not possible to have a abbrev table for that sort of mode. May be I could use indirect buffer or region? I have to think about that. Uwe
